Default Missing you? - Help me figure out the title and artist

Hey Everybody, this is my first time here so g'day to everybody.....I need your help...I'm trying to figure out the name and artist of a song that i heard ages ago. I heard a few notes tonight and it jogged my memory of the melody of this particular song. Here's a bit of a description:

    - The song i was pretty sure was in the movie "Looking for Alibrandi" but i can't be certain
    - It's a female solo with piano and i think violin in some points
    - It's very slow and I guess you could call it sorrowful
    - I seem to remember the words "Missing you" or "I'm missing you" or something similar

I know it's not a lot to go bye but any assistance would be appreciated...

    Cheers

Well, if you're correct that it appeared in "Looking For Alibrandi" then it should be one of the songs below. It's the track listing from the soundtrack.

    "WEIR" by: Killing Heidi
    "TINTARELLA DI LUNA" by: Happyland
"TEENAGER OF THE YEAR" by: Lo-tel
    "DINNERTIME" by: Spiderbait
"DEAD FROM THE WASTE DOWN" by: Catatonia
    "BLUE MOON" by: Endorphin
"I'M THE PROBLEM WITH SOCIETY" by: Frenzal Rhomb
"WITH OR WITHOUT YOU" by: Hamish Cowan
    "SUPERNOVA" by: Magic Dirt
"DIVINE" by: Antenna (w/ Chrissie Amphlett)
"DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM" by: Happyland
"DON'T SAY" by: Stella One Eleven
"TINTARELLA DI LUNA" by: Gina Zoia

    ****************************

Good luck. I hope you were right and that it's there.

Thanks Charlotte, is it a bit of a 'sorrowful' song? with a lot of piano and some violin etc? and quite slow?

Might be a cover of Tom Waits' "Ain't Missing You"
