Dear All,

My boyfriend is Bosnian guy and his birthday is coming on the days. I'm preparing a special video to congradulate him and it will be surprise for him. This video containes the pictures from Banja Luka, the city where he was born in Bosnia, and some pictures from his past life... It will come along with very tender and sincere wishes.

But this video will not be complete without very beautiful romantic song, do you agree? That's why i looking for the proper song. As I know my boyfriend likes very much such singers like Goran Bregovic, Bijelo Dugme, etc. So, it has to be his native famous song.

I do not know which song will match perfectly to this video? Could you be so kind to recommend me some proper songs?

But I think this song doesn't match to my video presentation... I suppose it should be a kind of love song where the woman is singing to a man or talking about her feelings. Or it might be the song where the man is telling the story about someone's feelings.

It would be easier to understand what I need exactly, if I'll give you more details. So, here is the story.

I'm Ukrainian girl and he is Bosnian man. We have significant age difference; he is 15 years older then me. His life was full of changes, it was sharp and hard; he got over success and wealth, failures and losses, pain and misery, impressions and true feelings… He was living in more than 10 countries, he knows different people and traditions; he is experienced in relations and he knows women very well! He was married and his daughter is just a little bit younger than me… He looks strong but he is vulnerable in his heart, he has the richest soul and beautiful inner world. We are different, but we have a lot of common things, his values are completely according with mine. He took a long way before we met each other, and it was the love from the first sight!

So, I see the right song for my video presentation should be the story about a mature and experienced man, who is in love again with young and beautiful lady, and it’s probably the most beautiful and genuine feelings he ever got! Another kind of song is might be something like confession of a woman to her only man, and promise to be for him everything, and to stay with him forever, it also might be declaration of love… Otherwise, it should be a love song with romantic melody, and it has to bring a very light and sentimental mood. And this song should bring the breath-taking passion, of course!
So, what do you think on it? Can we find the best solution?
