very interesting to learn about perfect and imperfect imperative.... i'm bulgarian but i have never been interested a lot in my language till now. but now you make want to learn its grammar and verbal forms
for those who're learning - if you have questions - ask them, i'll try to answer

Добре дошъл в бандата, Владо.

Well, the truth is that our language is extremely complicated. Sometimes even confusing.
There were situatiations like thе one, when a whole bunch of linguists and philologists, including myself, argued over the question of what was the subject in the sentence "Pie mi se bira". Was it "bira" or there was none. Whole Bulgaria got involved in this discussion. lol
We never agreed on this issue.

Дaли имaме глaгoл, личeн свършен вид, непрeхoден рeфлeкcива дaтива тaнтум, т.е. "пие ми се", от което да следва, че "бира" е подлог, или е желателнa кoнструкция с празна подлoжна пoзиция? Още се спори.
А аз съм на страната на онези, които твърдят, че "бира" не е никакъв подлог.
Уж нещо толкова елементарно, а се оказа, че може да разбуни духовете.

As you see, we have a really difficult and complicated language.

maybe the russian vocabulary will help you in learning bulgarian. for the grammar - not sure as i've never studied russian. only know that thay have several cases that have disappeared from bulgarian long time ago.

Well here turhanbg has made a pretty good explanation of the genders,I'll give u something more to learn next time,it's actually really late here so beginn with that

yes guys i will tell u the genders in bulgarian as much as i can
there r 3 genders in bulgarian .. masculine(myjki rod),feminine(jenski rod) and middle(sreden rod)..
masculine words generally finish with an unvoiced letter..
edin myj(man)
edin vestnik(newspaper)
edin avtobus(bus)
feminine words generally finish with -a or -q(я)
edna ulica(street)
edna dyrjava(country)
edna jena(woman)
but there r some words they seem like masculine but they r feminine.i know that they had some letters at tha end of them in ancient bulgarian. but now they r not exist
ednA esen(autumn)
ednA pesen(song)
ednA nosht(night)
and the middle finish with -o or -e
edno nebe(sky)
edno momche(boy)
edno syrce(heart)

OK,sorry for the delay but I was pretty busy with the University and really had no time...But I'm here now and since U've learned the genders I think we can continue with something easyer like pluralOk?
So it goes like that there r some exeptoins of course but masculine build plural with puting 'a' at the end og the word
EX:edin prozoretz(1 window)-dva prozoretza(2 windows)
edin divan(couch)-dva divana(2 couches)
edin den(day)-dva dena(2 days)
Feminine make plural with transforming the last letter in 'i'
EX:edna kutia(box)-dve kutii(2 boxes)
edna maimuna(monkey)-dve maimuni(2 monkeys)
edna chanta(bag)-dve chanti(2 bags)
And middle well I can't think of some rule here most of the words r making plural in different way
edno dete(child)-dve detza(2 children)
edno momche(boy)-dve momcheta(2 boys)
edno sluntze(sun)-dve sluntcza(2 suns)
edno sartze(heart)-dve sartza(2 hearts)

mmm,I guess that is for now if U have any other questions bout that tell me and we'll continue when U r done
