So do I. Спокойно. Поне знаем, че простотията е по хората, не по животните, така с колкото и тъп кравешки поглед те гледа простака / чката на който / ято говориш, има минимален шанс да те разбере.

I am Bulgarian and I currently study Modern Greek philology, but I would love to pick up some Turkish too because I have a Turkish friend and I would like to surprise him )
So I am looking for language partners both for Greek and Turkish. I could teach Bulgarian in exchange. If anyone is interested, please message me and we would exchange msn/skype details
I just want to say that I have been reading this thread and I am grateful that most of it is in English and all of you are doing great with written English, except for a few grammatical errors and spellings, I am 100% impressed! I know most of you are probably going to read this and think to yourselves, "well, duh!". I am just curious if English is a language you were obligated to learn or if it was something you wanted to learn and how did you go about learning English...was it pop-culture (American artists, athletics, etc...)? I am just curious about why you all learned English and how you learned, and is/was English simple for you to learn? THX...Bill

Hey, Bill
To tell U the truth, english is 90% obligated here,I don't know why, maybe couse half of the world speaks it,or becouse our politics here live with the idea that we have to do everything Americans do,I don't know but kids start learning it from kindergarden.English actually is my second language,I learned in a Gernam school, but it has always been easyer for me I have no idea whyBout pop-culture we learned it only as part of histriy lessons in school, nothing more specific
So this is it,of course from my poit of view.

Well, I had to learn it since 5 - th grade oficially, soo 6 years by now. Amm I wasn't influenced by the pop culture or things like that, just was soo easy for me to learn it On the other hand is way easyer to listen to a song, and understand the immediately. The movies too. It's way better for me to listen it by myself, instead of read all of those crappy translated subtitles, cause most of the time they are like that
