oh, "The beauty of Who y ou Are" by marc broussard thats a tear jerker,
Love you madly - cake, thats fun, more up beat kinda for during the reception
Save the Last dance for me - Micheal Buble, honestly the best song to end the night on, so cute
When i fall in love, Chris BOtti, its jazz but is swear that song makes your spine tingle
these are all more contemporary songs, and for an old school one, you can't go wrong with Frank Sinatra

hey, no need to be sorry... if it's not your taste then it's not your taste............
but if that's the case then don't bother looking for Say it.
I'll let you know if i've got something a little more along the lines of Broken Road- (beautiful song by the way).......

Well, I'm not sure what genre of music you like. But I'll name a few songs just to give you some ideas. Let us know what you decide (if you haven't already chosen one that is.)
I'll post each one in a different post with the lyrics.

I Cross My Heart by George Strait
Our love is unconditional, we knew it from the start.
I see it in your eyes, you can feel it from my heart.
From here on after let's stay the way we are right now,
And share all the love and laughter
That a lifetime will allow.
I cross my heart and promise to
Give all I've got to give to make all your dreams come true.
In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine.
You will always be the miracle that makes my life complete,
And as long as there's a breath in me, I'll make yours just as sweet.
As we look into the future, it's as far as we can see,
So let's make each tomorrow be the best that it can be.
I cross my heart and promise to
Give all I've got to give to make all your dreams come true.
In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine.
And if along the way we find a day it starts to storm,
You've got the promise of my love to keep you warm.
In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine,
A love as true as mine.

Keeper of The Stars by Tracy Bird
It was no accident me finding you
Someone had a hand in it
Long before we ever knew
Now I just can't believe you're in my life
Heaven's smilin' down on me
As I look at you tonight
I tip my hat to the keeper of the stars
He sure knew what he was doin'
When he joined these two hearts
I hold everything
When I hold you in my arms
I've got all I'll ever need
Thanks to the keeper of the stars
Soft moonlight on your face oh how you shine
It takes my breath away
Just to look into your eyes
I know I don't deserve a treasure like you
There really are no words
To show my gratitude
So I tip my hat to the keeper of the stars
He sure knew what he was doin'
When he joined these two hearts
I hold everything
When I hold you in my arms
I've got all I'll ever need
Thanks to the keeper of the stars
It was no accident me finding you
Someone had a hand in it
Long before we ever knew

You're the Inspiration by Chicago
You know our love was meant to be
The kind of love that lasts forever
And I need you here with me
From tonight until the end of time
You should know, everywhere I go
You're always on my mind,
in my heart In my soul
You're the meaning in my life
You're the inspiration
You bring feeling to my life
You're the inspiration
Wanna have you near me
I wanna have you hear me sayin'
No one needs you more than I need you
And I know, yes I know that it's plain to see
We're so in love when we're together
And I know that I need you here with me
From tonight until the end of time
You should know, everywhere I go
You're always on my mind,
in my heart In my soul
You're the meaning in my life
You're the inspiration
You bring feeling to my life
You're the inspiration
Wanna have you near me
I wanna have you hear me sayin'
No one needs you more than I need you

Here is a few to start you off. I'll think of more after dinner.
I have a ton of them.
Oh, Faithfully by Journey. That's an old 80's hit. I'm sure you heard it before.

Butterfly Kisses is sung by Bob Carlisle. You can find it on the album:
The Best of Bob Carlisle: Butterfly Kisses & Other Stories
It's a beautiful song; major tear-jerker.
Also, congrats & I wish you the best!

The best tearjerker song for father/daughter dance has to be "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle.
Songs for the happy couple:
I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You by Marc Antony Tina Arina
I Finally Found Someone by Barbra Streisand & Bryan Adams
When You Tell Me That You Love me by Julio Iglesias and Dolly Pardon
I Could Not Ask for More by Sarah Evans
From this Moment On by Shania Twain
