having a school dance next week, im in charge... i need some good "retro" songs you know i was thinking john lennon stuff... someone help me out or at least direct me on the right track

I don't know that John Lennon made any "dance" tracks... The title of your post was "70's song ideas." When I think 70's dance, I'm thinking FUNK music. GAP band, Rick James, George Clinton, KC and the Sunshine Band, Kool and the gang, stuff like that... Those are my ideas
