I am very new to all this so please forgive me.

Very briefly this is my scenari.......

About 6 years ago, i bumped into a guy who i fancied enormously, but he had just got into a very new relationship. I was very drunk and made a bit of a fool of myself.

5 years on he walked into my local pub, having just finished in his relationship. We began dating immediately and generally get on very well. But he is very scared of getting hurt as in previous relationships so will not open up with his feelings.

We believe it was fate that we bumped into eachother.
