Please translate this beautiful song for me. I can get most of the words but i want it to be done correctly.

The pilgrim and traveler mean the same thing. Pilgrim is used more often in a religious sense, but since the song didn't sound particularly religious I used traveler.

thank you so much for the translation. i am grateful. the novela has finished but the song is a reminder to me that you can't underestimate the power of the human spirit. and if the other person would have bothered to look into the title or subject matter of the novela, they would have understood why she was named PEREGRINA........................keep up the good work.

Why is her name Peregrina? Is it because she was part of that circus?

yes because she was a traveller, in body and spirit
also, it is like a play on words as well. in english peregrine is a type of falcon, and it has a strong heart.

and the slp, is for san luis potosi, where my husband is from.

Believe it or not, I have the same name in the masculine form. So when I saw the name Peregrina jump out at me I thought I'd fallen into my own true love's arms only to be cruelly, if not gently awakened from my own narcissistic fantasy. As far as I know, the name Peregrin/a comes from the latin Peregrinatio, which was the practice of Irish monks travelling to the continent of Europe in order to test out their astronomical theories sometime around 1000 AD?
