Organizing Spanish Translations List

I was just asking why isn't there a list of translated spanish songs as a topic?
There is one for almost every language and it makes a search for a translation much easier....
That was just may suggestion, and i hope the moderators will think about that...thanks!

Well if there are people willing to do this, we can make a list just as we made for some other parts of the forum (slavic, greek, italian etc)

It's a lot of job to do, but it can be done, it's not a problem

Hi, it's very nice that you offer your help with this! The mods have already arranged a huge part of the Spanish Translation Forum some weeks ago, so there is not much left to re-organize. Here’s a suggestion how we could get the rest together. I’ve splitted the missing pages to 10 parts, it would be great if you want to help arranging them. Each part contains about 2 and 1/2 page.

Important: Please post here what you want to do before you start (to avoid two people doing the same thing) and send the list to me via PM when you are finished, either as text message or (preferred) upload a file (e.g. Word Document, Email file, something like this) with the list on www.sendspace.com and send me the link via PM. (I think there’s a certain restriction of signs per PM, so sending a file would be easier, if you have any trouble concerning the transfer of the list, contact me , if nothing works you can also post it here)



(You know that the given page numbers are changing all the time with each new thread, but you should find the threads in question around this place somewhere)

Some guidelines how to work:
- If you come accross any Greek – Spanish translations, ignore them
- Try to collect English -> Spanish translations separately
- Try to collect Worship song translations separately
- If there’s a request with no artist and you cannot find it out on your own, you may ask in this thread so we can find out together
- You can ignore misc. translations like letters or small sentences
- Link to the direct post containing the translation, not only the thread - you can get the link by clicking on the permalink button on the right side of a post

Here’s an example of what we are doing, please sort the threads as following in alphabetical order

A-Artist
Song 1 A…
Song 2 B…

B-Artist
Song 1 A…
Song 2 B…
Song 3 C…

The problem (especially with Turkish, Greek and Spanish Translations) is that they get bigger and bigger every day I believe we are missing another 50 pages from June/July last year onwards.

well you can start with sending me the links of the arabic songs you mentioned on pm ...

Im not sure, but I think that from page 40 onwards lacks of check if they are added to the list

I had the idea that this website was supposed to be like some sort of database for translations, I found songs from Arabic - Spanish on another website, so I guess they won't be needed?
I got the idea kind of wrong, it's supposed to be just translations that have been included in past threads here right?
Anyway I am going to work on completing the list
