My objections

* I dont know the expression 'A placer'

* (i) This is not really what you read in Spanish but is necessary to link this frase to the last paragraph to understant. Well he said he was fighting not to see that girl but that does not mean he quit wanting her. In raw words he says " Y no es por eso que halla dejado de quererte un solo dia" I would say it as " This is not reason for me to give up on loving you" but i'm not sure of this construction and probably it is not elegant.

* "(ii) por tu felicidad a costa de la mia." The whole say is "Estoy contigo aunque estes lejos de mi vida por tu felicidad a costa de la mia" and I proposed
"I am with you even if you be far way from my life, for your happiness at the expense of my own" he probably means they are apart for the choice of her (for hapiness) and he did not agree with that

* Here I propose to use 'to love' instead of 'to want' because they are similar in this context because 'to want' assume such poetic meaning. Not properly means the physical-sensual aspect.
