Thanks for your beautiful translation. I'm a beginner in Spanish language and I'm interested in its rich culture. Here I have a question which may appear silly to you but I'm gonna ask it anyway:
In the sentence "y ahora eres de mi hermano", could "hermano" mean anything else than "brother" (like a close friend or something). I ask this question because in some cultures, people call their close friend or fellow citizen a "brother". What is your interpretation of this sentence "y ahora eres de mi hermano", at the end of the day? Does that imaginary girl of the song, for instance has eloped with her lover's brother or could it be a close friend.( in the case of "brother"...well... it seems weird to me, although I know anything is possible!) . Thanks again for your time and help.
