I am looking for a song...
While I am at work I always say I'm going to remember the words but then I always come home and forget what exactly she was saying .... So you might not be able to help me.. But okay:

It sounds like an African American woman singing it....and she has a really pretty voice, she drags out alot of the words.
These are the things my mind seemed to retain:
never gonna say goodbye?
Don't want you to go... or don't want you to go away?

My mind keeps remembering these lines..but they all seem like love song lines, and it seems that when I heard it, it sounded so sad and heart wrenching..

But it's so beautiful.. if you can help, great...

The only other songs that I could think of right now are "Somersault" and "Day Too Soon". Both songs have links in Post #148.

can someone help me with this song. It sounds like a soft rock song. It has a lengthy guitar solo somewhere in there. It sounds like the guy is saying "I don't want to stay......another day.....the day without you." During one his verses he's says "I'm not that strong," and also "give me a reason."

OK bugmenot1 i need your help once again. The song i'm looking for is called blue monday but it's a remix. It's a female singer but it's not the orgy song or the flunk song. The voice is more mellow and instead of something electric sounding it sounds like bells in the end so any ideas?

This is driving me nuts i've looked on just about every search engine. But if someone knows the song that starts out "I'm a little rough around the edges" and other various lines are: "i'm dreaming my life away and its time to wake up" I figured that was the chorus and would be the easiest to find...but its totally not! Help me out? Thaanks! =]]

Heard a song today - male/female - I don't remember the lyrics. I just remember thinking "I wonder if this is from the new Pete Yorn / Scarlett Johansson CD?" Came home, listened to samples on Amazon and I don't think it was. It was pretty mellow, back and forth, maybe, just maybe, some lyrics like "I love you" but don't really remember.

Hmm ... I don't think this was it. I'm pretty sure I would have recognized Tweedy's voice. Good song though. I'll have to go back and sample some more of that Yorn/Johansson CD because that's what it SHOULD be

Hmm ... this could be it. Did you just find a male/female song or do you know that this is on the Kohl's "soundtrack"? Funny story, I have a stack of CDs sitting next to my computer that I've misplaced the cases for and the CD on top? Amy Kuney's "Bird's Eye View"!

100% sure that I heard it at Kohl's. Some songs get played a lot, other songs, not so much.

Bugmenot1, I think you can help me with this one: I was doing some folds in boys tonight and heard the song I always love, but never remember to memorize the lyrics to. Male singer. The chorus ends with something like, "You take the sky away." Then a sweet piano ditty with the singer vocalizing over it. In the very beginning is acoustic guitar, and that repeats in the song after the piano 'ditty'. A slow pop feel, with some string instruments.

I'm gonna time you with this one. ...Just kidding. But you do a WONDERFUL job on here.
