If you find yourself craving a "fix" of Kohl's music, here's what you can do:
1. Go shop at Kohl's (too bad you don't have your discount anymore)
2. Call the store on the telephone and ask to be put on hold
3. Come back to this forum and check out the song links

This song is for you:
"Goodbye" by The Waifs

Lately, we've come across some covers of songs. You not only have to find the song, you have to find the right version.

"Just Another Day" was originally by Jon Secada (Bernie Williams)
"Blue Monday" was by New Order (Nouvelle Vague)
"Skyway" was by The Replacements (Jeremy Messersmith)
"Love Is A Stranger" was by Eurythmics (Martha Wainwright)

Default help!!!

I have been working at Kohls for 3 years now, and I CAN'T FIND THIS ONE SONG!!!!!

It seems like it is newer, maybe only played for a few months now and it starts off with what sounds like a flute...then he sings.."is there more to change..." its always hard to right down the lyrics because of customers! The flute sound keeps coming in and out of the song, it almost sounds like a theme to NYPD Blue or something!! I know he also sings "no one else should know..." or something.

I know I'm not giving much to work with, but THANK YOU!!!!

I know exactly what song you're talking about. I haven't been able to find it yet. None of the lyrics show up on the web. Here's what I have:

No one else should know, there's nowhere else to go where you call home
There's more to this
There's more to take
Ungracious cries
Insincere waves goodbye
Spend this fortune on hated life
Interest wait in line
Every wish has shed
If you ignore me I'll wait, if only to fight for to see you tonight

I think I first heard this song in July. The song is very quiet and the flute gives it a Native American feel. The singer sounds like a mellower Jakob Dylan. Those lyrics are quite distinctive. I was wondering when someone would ask about it. If I find it, I'll post it. If anyone else finds it, let us know.

This is one of the new songs they just started playing this month. IMO it sounds like a country/cajun Bruce Hornsby (although the artist is really British). The only problem is that the lyrics don't match what you wrote.

I heard a song at Kohls the other day while I was working. It has a classic rock-ish sound, it was long, and it featured a saxophone solo right before the end... I know that is all kind of vague but if anyone could help, that would be great! Thanks

I heard this song at 8Pm just before x-mas 2007, DMI started providing service in Jan 08, MUZAC was probably the provider but they have not been responding. The band had accordian, fiddle, guitar and a Piano and the lyric I posted was in the Hook

Thanks for the response and david grey was a pleasure to listen to

2007? You should have mentioned that right from the start. I know Kohl's songs going back to 2005, so I'll have to think about this one. In the meantime, here's a song from around that time that you might enjoy:

This is the first song that came to mind. I don't usually pay attention to saxaphone solos.

Here's one for fun (FYI, this is not a Kohl's song):

Thanks for the quick response, however, that is not the song. The one I am thinking off is more rockish than that.

I am trying to find a song that is played in Kohl's stores that contain the words: "find me in your arms" or "finally in your arms". Can someone help me with this? It is a fairly new song.

This song is brand new at Kohl's. So far, I've only heard it once. I never noticed the saxophone at the end.
