but you have to put istanbul in accusative form, so you have to put "ı,i,u or ü" and because the last vovel is u, you will put u.
and özle is the base of verb, you should make it in present tense...
İstanbul'u özler misin?
(moreover we can use to miss verb in present continuous tense to mean i miss it right now, so it can be better if you say: İstanbul'u özlüyor musun?"

In English you can say are you missing or do you miss but the latter is more commonly used.
My main confusiong part was why not say "İstanbul'u özledi misin" for
did you miss Istanbul, instead of "İstanbul'u özledin mi"? But in a language it is sometimes better to not question why something is the way it is.
Now, perhaps I should go back to using this forum for its original purpose

can i say sarkilar sever misun ? or sarkilar seviyor misun
and is nt it in english how can i use it in turkish degil mi
and there is word i listen to it in turkish but i dont know how to write it ,it like ( De me ) sound like that and its come in end of sentence

***The verbs like "love, like, want, feel..." in English are used with present tense and not with continuous (wşth some exceptions of course). But in Turkish, you can use them with continouous tense "-(I)yor". "seviyorum, istiyorum" and so on.

Kind Turkish friends, can I trouble one of you to translate the following verse out of Sezen Akus's "Sarışınım?" I would like to have an English translation which would FLOW and NOT be choppy if it's possible. I want it to make sense where it would read "like a story" and not have each line being left hanging. I want it to connect and work together. It doesn't have to be absolutely accurate or precise, so if you strear away from being literal, then that's absolutely fine.
