Default Emel Müftüoğlu - Evlenilecek kızlar var

I hope someone will be so kind and translate this song for me:

Emel Müftüoğlu - Eğlenilecek Kızlar

evlenilecek kızlar var
eğlenilecek kızlar var
kim bu bize sormadan adımızı koyup
sınıf sınıf ayıranlar
anneni de böyle üzdüler oğlum
canlarından bezdiler oğlum
babalar dere tepe gezdiler oğlum
hak mı? hukuk mu bu?

hadi ordan hadi bize masal anlatma
adalet istiyoruz
dur aklını oynatma hazır ol isyan çıktı güzelim
boş yere mercimeği fırına verip de kaynatma

hadi güle güle git bakalım
adamını bulacağız en hasından
aleme de haber uçurduk
dedik ki maçolar düşsün yakamızdan

yetti be öldük tasamızdan

iade-i itibar istiyoruz beyler
kavgaysa kavga buyrun gelin

hadi ordan hadi bize masal anlatma
adalet istiyoruz dur aklını oynatma
hazır ol isyan çıktı güzelim
boş yere mercimeği fırına verip de kaynatma

hadi güle güle git bakalım
adamını bulacağız en hasından
aleme de haber uçurduk
dedik ki maçolar düşsün yakamızdan

I'm also curious to know what this song is all about. Judging by the interesting choreography of the video, it looked sweet and fun so I'm naturally assuming the same for the lyrics as well.

I've tried really hard to translate some part to English, if there is a better suggestion for those parts I am fully open to your offers

Thanks for the translation Polifonikkafa.

As for the lyrics, they are just brilliant. I mean, they not only touch up on the troubles of marriage which can all be too daunting. In addition to that, it draws upon the generational conflicts that naturally erupt over the customs and procedures of marriage. To top it all off, all this seems to be delivered in way by poking fun and making light of these events. This is one of the best set of lyrics that I have read on this forum. It's all constructed and written in a way that is incomparable.

Who is the author of these lyrics?

Again, kudos to you Polifonikkafa for translating them into English. I mean, you were well able to deliver the same sort of messages across. I can't imagine that this was easy for you. Nonetheless, you've hit the nail on the head on first shot in terms of its accuracy along with its message & understanding.

@ Marmaris, yes the song has a Feminist tone to it but it contains a "healthy" and logic message to it. That's what's also great about it.

Yes,many times.(honour awards,etc.)

BTW I read that she said "I am satisfied with awards.Don't give me awards anymore."

Oh wow!

Even more reasons to adore Sezen.

This pretty much confirms the opinion that I had about her that she does all this out of her own interest and passion for the music she writes about. I mean, she's written so many hits for a number of other artists that have brought them to the fame we know of. I never thought that she was the type of person that was after any popularity or publicity from the public. Although one can't help but be interested in her work since it's just genious.

You guys are honestly blessed to have an incredible person like her who's left a deep everlasting mark on Turkish Music scenery in general.
