Or did you miss that small difference? (it's hard not to)
I just want to be sure..because it's just a few letters but the meaning is very different for me ( my pain or HIS pain)

Actually I don't know what you ve lived before but as I see this relation both hurts you and him.You feel pain for yourself and himself.So his pain is yours not his.I got it from your text if it is not like this excuse me...
