Thank you so much for the translation of the lyrics. I think it is a beautiful song. Sadly it does loose the emotional translation from Turkish to English. I felt the word "elebette" is a very important part of the song, hence the title. If I'm not mistaken it means "to be secure, safe, wanted, loved". Therefore the song expresses the ups and downs of love i.e. if I leave I will return, if I cry I will laugh, if the flower fades it will blossom again etc etc. It simply expresses the turbulance of being in love. Neslihan you did do a great translation.

Hi Anna,

'elbette' means 'ofcourse' or 'naturally'. Although in both translations, we opted for 'ofcourse' I think 'natually' might be a better word to use. The other point I wish to make is that this song is not actually about 'love' it is about 'life'. Love plays a big part in everybody's lives so there are references to it but it is actually about the ups and downs of life. THe points she is trying to make is that whatever happens in life no matter how bad it is there comes a time when things will be amazing again but then bad things will happen again and will be followed by good things. Thus she says the flowers fade but blossom again... and that she never believed and will never believe that 'things have an end.' It is one of my favourite Turkish songs because it is one of the very few turkish songs about 'life' as oppose to millions about 'love'
