Default Yakup Ekin - Bir Nefes

Can someone please translate this song for me? Thanksss in advance

Bir Nefes

Bir nefes kadar kisaymis
Ask dedigin bir sakaymis
Alacaklarina saymis kader bu

Bir nefes kadar kisaymis
Ask dedigin bir sakaymis
Alacaklarina saymis kader bu

Hic kimse bilmez
Bilemez gönül ister ama sevemez
Sürükler pesine askin
Kimselere diyemez

Hic kimse bilmez
Bilemez gönül ister ama sevemez
Sürükler pesine askin
Kimselere diyemez

Bir günahmis bir hataymis
Belki birazcik yasanmis
Alacaklarina saymis
Kader bu !!!!

4X

Hic kimse bilmez
Bilemez gönül ister ama sevemez
Sürükler pesine askin
Kimselere diyemez

Bir nefes kadar kısaymış
Aşk dediğin bir şakaymış
Alacaklarına saymış
Kader bu

it was as short as a breath (*)
that you call love was a joke
it took as an offset
this is destiny

Hiç kimse bilmez bilemez
Gönül ister ama sevemez
Sürükler peşine aşkın
Kimselere diyemez

nobody knows, cannot know
the heart desires but cannot love
it drags toward behind love
it cannot tell anybody

Bir günahmış bir hataymış
Belki birazcık yaşanmış
Alacaklarına saymış
Kader bu

it was a sin a mistake
maybe it was lived a little bit
it took as an offset
this is destiny

---
(*) a tense called "mişli past tense" is heavily used in the lyrics. briefly it conveys the idea that "i didn't know it until now/then but i've learned that ... or i was told that ..."

(if the lyrics don't make any sense to you, well, never mind; it doesn't make any sense to me either.)

hehe ilkin thanks! but, well... i definitely don't get these parts
Sürükler peşine aşkın - "it drags toward behind love"

maybe that could be something like it hides behind your love? supposing that askin means your love?

Alacaklarına saymış - "it took as an offset"

sürükler peşine aşkın: i rephrased it "(o) aşkın peşine sürükler" as a regular sentence, with the hidden subject "it," and missing object. "it" may refer to "the heart" in the previous sentence, although i'm not sure.

but if "aşkın" is taken for the subject of the sentence, then the meaning is something like "your love drags toward behind it." i don't know what this "it" refers to. also, drags whom?

if it were "aşkın peşinDE sürükler", then it would be easier to understand: the heart drags/drifts one behind/after love. i listened to the song a couple of times. he insistently says "peşine" (or so do i hear it).

alacağına saymak: i don't know the exact financial term here (i'm terribly bad at economics and economy related subjects and i still don't remember how i passed EC101. ). i give you an example and you give me the phrase.

suppose that i owe you $10. then i give you something to sell for me and you sell it for $30, but you give back to me only $20 and say "i keep this $10 for the money you owe me." so, you keep it as what?

yes, a kind of paying back but indirectly: i don't pay it back directly but you take or keep what's mine for my debt to you. of course this effectively amounts to paying back
