I will tell a little bit more about myself..
My name is Manon and I am from Holland.. 19 years old. And I looove Turkey! Everything about it, nature, people, food and MUSIC! Thats why I got here! Lyrics translations I love Turkish music! And the songs have so much meaning.. I really want to learn Turkish and I am learning a lot from the songs too! But my grammar is really really bad so I need some studying!
I am planning to go to Turkey this summer for 2 or 3 months to work there ( after my exams this month) but I need to find a job there and i dont think thats easy!
And yes I had a Turkish bf 2
But he lives here in the Netherlands At this moment we are having some problems.. It is not totally and officially over..but things are not great between us now..unfortunately..

I dont blame you for not knowing hungarian..If I wouldn't have been brought up with this language...I would have never learned it..it's very hard..and has a very twisted grammar...But u know..It has many many many similarities with Turkish language... in words, pronunciation and grammar ..

You know whats sad? I met his colleague yesterday and he was hitting on me again... He was sitting in his car and staring at me, then he drove behind the shop corner and showed me with hand to come to him... I didnt go of course... Are these men nuts?? All married with baby-kids.

You know what IŽll say today?? Or you divorce, or youŽll have a child with me, or weŽre done...

aarrggghhh taner and ı had such a fıght last nıght---he says ı dont respect the "dress code" ı told hım there was none...western dress rules and ı wont cover up..ı told hım he needed a muslım turk gırl and ı slept on the couch and he let me---that made me so mad that ı decıded to leave...next mornıng he was lıke we had only a lıttle fıght and when we fıght you want to break up and ı saıd--thıs ıs not a lıttle fıght...whıle ı love you we are too dıfferent and he was lıke no we are not. and he was lıke stay and later on tonıght when ı get home from work we wıll talk....aarrggghhhhhh

no shorts....no dresses because they come to my knees..and are lowcut...and ı told hım..never---there ıs no dress law and ı refuse--thıs ıs a matter of human rıghts--womens rıghts....

Hum I dont think he will accept this..turkish guys can be very possesive..and they dont want others to see what is their own I personally agree to this..I don't agree altough to total cover...that is way out of line...
I am not put into this situation, my guy allows me to dress with shorts and dresses..but not upper than my knees
You know how I feel about this..and i know..how u feel about it..so I wont argue with u on this..
I just think that u should try to discuss this matter with him..in a way that things will turn out good for both of us...you both have to make certain sacrifices.

see thıs ıs the problem--look at what you saıd "my guy wont let me" and "what belongs to them"--we dont own each other--and we dont have the rıght to tell each other what to do--these are basıc human rıghts and rıghts ı wont waıver...ı would rather break up...ı love hım but thıs ıs about human rıghts--womens rıghts

Hum...I dont agree..sorry...I think that when there is LOVE..everything else arround us..just dissapears...and that are..other people, grudges, prejudice, ...bla bla bla...and also these "rights"...i really dont understand How u can say that he attacked u'r 'woman ' rights ?
