Well, he is really old for this job about 38 and he is still famous, so popular. I personally do not like him. He made his first album in 1994, he was accepted in the music world then and from then on he has improved himself so much. He is now so much famous, you can hear his songs everywhere. I used to have his first album, my grandparents used to put it on and watch me dancing with the song 'Karabiberim' which is his first single, in fact, I cannot say I don't like him, he was in my childhood, a kind of strange feeling, I still take to him. His last album is really popular. I assure you that you can hear songs from his last album anywhere you go.
Mostly played songs are 'Heyecan' and 'Şeytan'...

yeah i read this wikepidea page,i heard that the turkish singer yalin is from there too,but i heard that the father of serdar is uzbek ,is that true??

Well, I do not know, I searched but no results... He looks like he is from eastern places, not sure.
I do not like him because he looks so strnage to me, he looks like gay somehow, I do not know if I must keep it to myself but now that you asked. And I read that he gets manicured and pedicured ever so often. He looks feminine to me. I do not think getting manicured is bad for men, but he is really strange, you would feel the same I guess, there is not that many girls who are in love with him while there are many with Tarkan for example, Tarkan cares about his looking as well... Do you understand me even a little?

dear i understand you a lot ,for god sake's,i'm a girl and i don't even do manicured nor pedicured ,really chocked,turkish music fans here don't like him too ,but the music he makes is so intresting,he's a good composer,and the voice too ,it's soooooo feminin,the first time i listen to him i thaught that it was a women,he's strange i don't think he represent turkey,but tarkan does, the most famous turkish in arab world,not to mention his look,his eyes are way too attractive,

LOL you're the first one to thank me for understanding,speaking about gay,many singers act like it,for exemple robert hatemo ,he was cool,but after his last album and especially in the video klip çok isim var,he was dancing like a gay,he was moving his waiste and acting strangely,he dances belly dancing better than i do,i find it weard,

even if l dont like him so much..i should accept that he knows how to attract,enjoy,dance people by his songs..he has at least 7-8 hit songs in his albums..we like it or not,we can hear him with his diffrent songs in every place,in every year=))
