Conversation Between catherini and amaryn

Fame, Catherini, is a strange word in our world, I suppose to be wellknown is not even enough to have enough work. You also have
to be commercial, take a manager, have them tell you what to sing, and I have never wanted that! Thus I am "punished" but I can do my own things. I also have therefore nobody sponsoring a record/studio for me. What to say? There have been years already with much money and years without any money. I sail in between these years with a smile on my face

I'm sorry you are having some hard times, I was listening to someone saying on the radio that if you are going to do music you have got to love what you are doing because performing may be your only reward I wish you all the best and hope you become famous and earn loads of money

Hi Catherini! Yes, singing and playing guitar(acoustically) is my profession ever since I left university where I studied languages.
Now times are hard but we'll see, I was also going through hard times when bginning this work as I had no clue where to start
getting work from. So I've been hardened you could say

Hiya Amaryn..yes I really enjoyed the flamenco evening, although first of all it was cancelled on Saturday as we all waited to go in. The musicians were delayed on their flight and didn't arrive in time, but it was re-arranged for Sunday night so we did see the show after all There was one dancer, one guitar (no long fingernails) and one singer, a very informal show and excellently performed. Such expression in the dance, just wished I could have understood the words that were being sung and the story that was being acted out.

If I was reborn I'd love to learn to play the violin, I've never been very musically minded I'm afraid, I just love to listen It must be great to play an instrument as part of an orchestra. Do you play professionally?

Hi Amaryn....yes I've been back from my travels for a couple of weeks now, trying hard not to get back in the same routine, but of course I am here on the forum every day as usual I had a nice relaxing time and hope you had a great holiday too !! I'll be posting some songs again soon it was very quiet while you were away!
