P.S. Thank you for the other Turkish program! Do you know the blonde male singer on Akademi Tuerkiye 2004 with BARIS? What is the name of his TV show?

Rica ederim, Can. Yes Turkish is like mathematics. I am terrible at math! ... I am so glad you love BARIS as I do. Thank you for talking about him. Not many people talk to me about him--no one here in Kentucky. When I go out, I always try to look and listen for any Turkish people, but I never find any! . . . I write poems about BARIS sometimes. I wrote one in Turkish (but I was writing simple Turkish back-and-forth online everyday back then). I can hardly remember "evet de yok" now!

But I still love to learn new words! Teshekkuer ederim for wanting to make translations! Are you finding the Turkish-English language threads on ATL? Paul Orhan is a very, very kind and good man, and a friend (through ATL). He will help you with anything you need. So will the moderators. And I shall try too! You're doing well on your English. Tebrikler !

Bir şey değil. So very nice to meet you!

I love BARIS AKARSU (R.I.P.). He is my favorite singer. I love the Turkish language. I can sing it, but I do not fully understand it. I watched Turkey's "Yalanci Yarim" with BARIS AKARSU and Merve Sevi 4 times! My favorite show! Each time I understand a little better. But Turkish is very hard for me.

You will find many lovers of music (and plenty of love for Turkish singers!) on this thread:
