The ice age is slowly coming
But you never felt so hot before
You don’t know what to do
So you just do it even more
When chopping trough the ice
Remember me as the prize
Who never learnt the meaning
But always took the advice
You got to take the whole thing
Always going so much faster
Yelling for the pickaxe
To avoid the worst disaster
You were freezing all along
The icy hours from noon to dawn
Slipping and sliding towards the ground
But the bottom there was never found
Red skies could make you smile
Leaning back with poison in hand
You wanted to stay here for a while
But the poles is always an exile
The everlasting summer
Waiting for the snow
Putting away the coat
And getting on with the show
I was under the surface
Of the slippery gilded trap
Waiting for your hand
To pull me trough the gap
The ice age’s the place for you
Where no one comments your style
And you can sing to yourself
But non will see you smile
