I am looking for a song but I can only remember it's music video:

~when: mid 1990s / early 2000s
~where: MTV (U.S)
~music: some form of rock (mellow)
~singer: a white male. i think he had long hair? brown or black?
~setting: it takes place in this room, that opens up into the atmosphere, planets start coming into it, he sings about the milky way, its a semi dark setting in the room. when the room is enclosed there is one light hanging from the ceiling that glim's on the floor.
~This song reminds me of; Train - Drops Of Jupiter, but I'm more then positive this is not the song.
~i use to wake up to this song on mtv pretty much every morning for like a month.
