thanks
There is only one sentence that I cannot understandit's in the last verse (which repeats itself) can anybody tell me what it is?
Here are the lyrics that i've deciphered:
Dead man walkin' down a sinner line
Heart rate fallin' trying to watch the time
I got a pocket full of dollars and an empty chest
No good deed be put to rest
And I pray
To make it home some day
Dead man smilin' at the pretty birds
Tall pines whisperin' what they had heard
We got a mother and a maker and a chance at life
Why's it so hard just to get it right
And I pray
To get it right some day
Dead man whispering to the pines
Gotta gotta know how to get inside
Gotta gotta win gotta gotta find a wife
Please another chance to make things right
And I pray
To make it home some day
To make it home some day
Long way home
Long time gone
Long way home
Dark day waving at the setting sun
Lord a little more spent on the run
Got a picture and a path and a book of psalms
Life is long and life goes on
'Said I pray
To make it home some day
Dark day waving at the setting sun
Lord a little more spent on the run
You got a picture and a path and a book of psalms
Life is long and life goes on
Still I pray
To make it home some day
And yeah, if i've made any mistakes please tell me
Thanks
