Association song

Ive been a huge fan of the Association for years. I saw them perform a song on t.v. a long time ago called "Backseat Of Heaven". They performed it on the old Mike Douglas show. The song has never been released but I was wondering if anyone knows the lyrics. I have a tape of them performing the song but the sound is muffled. any help would be greatly appreciated.
