Rain hits the window,
Darkness fills the sky,
An empty house whispers,
A cold and broken sigh,
Your face is in the mirror,
Standing behind my own,
Before I look for you,
I know I’m all alone,

But I’m going to lie awake,
Imagining paths my life could take,
You’re somewhere out there,
Not knowing that I care,
So I’ll wish upon your star,
Hope wherever you are,
You’re going to be okay,

Some days, they drag on,
Like I’m wearing lead,
Trying to find subtle hope,
In the things that you said,
Some days fly like lightning,
Living in my dreams,
‘Cause reality’s not as good,
Everything’s as it seems,

Wonderful! It makes me picture a scene in my head. This is inspirational
