Old Russian Song

I downloaded many years ago a Russian song, i think a war song, don't know if the red Army sang it, maybe yes, i don't understand Russian, but i herd the word "rodina ( sang with many a)" well, i think that was a feminine choir that pronounced it, not a male choir.This song was very epic at the beginning but after 1 or more minute it became normal.I know it would be difficult to find it,too few clues i know, but if someone can help me to find this song ,i can say to him/her only Thank you!
