Manolis Aggelopoulos - Ta filia sou fwtia

    Link to song -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9qJ5aQ4V9I
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"

    your kisses are fire

    don't...
don't go away.. don't go.. and never..
    (never) deny me

    i've already got used to
    your warm embrace
    now alone
    i'll go blind
    now alone
    i'll go blind

    your kisses are fire
    your body's like conflagration
when you look me in the eyes
    love(passion) turns me on,
you take me to the stars,
if you leave me, i'll die from pain

its originally ana arabic song, composed by Mohamed Abdul Wahab, named ENTA OMRI, and sung first by Oum Kolthoum. A very famous song in the arabic world.

this would be so-called "greeklish" writing:

    ta filia sou einai fotia

    mi..
    mi fygeis.. mi fygeis..kai pote..
    mi m' arnitheis

    eho synithisei pia
    ti zesti sou angalia
    tora monahos
    tha 'mai san tyflos
    tora monahos
    tha 'mai san tyflos

    ta filia sou einai fotia
    to kormi sou pyrkagia
mes ta matia san me koitas
    m' anavei o sevdas
    st' asteria me pas
an mou fygeis, ap' ton pono tha pethano

but, for that you need to know some basic pronunciations
i can't bother writing pronunciation in english, but, if you use google translator (gr>>eng) and you turn on "read phonetically", just under the box where you typed lyrics, you'll get something like this:

    Mi̱... mi̱ fýgeis ...mi̱ fýgeis ... kai poté ....
    mi̱ m' arni̱theís
    Écho̱ syni̱thísei pia ti̱ zestí̱ sou ankaliá
tó̱ra monachós tha 'mai san tyflós
tó̱ra monachós tha 'mai san tyflós

    Ta filiá sou eínai fo̱tiá
    to kormí sou pyrkagiá
mes ta mátia san me koitás
    m' anávei o sevntás
    st' astéria me pas
an mou fýgeis, ap' ton póno tha petháno̱

    hope it helps...
