Trying To Find Her Way

All made up and dressed to impress
So many thoughts put into all the effort, she almost wants to regress
But such readiness and preparation of the excitement has enhanced
One last breath upon waiting for the night arrive leads to the hope of romance

The anticipation becomes stronger and the hopes intensifies
While the starry night skies flicker above and seemingly magnifies
The music in her head builds, the beats become faster
And her heart becomes so intense it is soon filled with joy and laughter

Unfortunately such a story of hope, love, and happy endings is just myth
She still believes in herself…that her hopes, dreams and visions will come to exist
She damningly lives her day with the thought of life and love in mind
But she will soon realize that her perfect story, she will ultimately never find

Finally sick of the cancellations and tired of all the lies
It’s become no wonder or even a question that all she wants to do is hide
Reasons and motives of excuses are taken into consideration
But at the end day,…the person she thought she trusted is be guilty of lies and manipulations.

And still, she tries so hard to find her way
To find that special someone to find one day
And ultimately the unwanted and undesired denial and failures is cast upon her life
Which causes her to wonder, why must I go through all this ****, when I’ve already been through so much strife?
