Question upbeaty type of pop song

I was shopping in Khols today and heard this one song sung by a male and it was an upbeaty type of pop song. All I can remember about it was talking about a 17 year old girl and the last like of the chorus was something about hppy (or happily) ever after. I'm pretty sure that the entire song was in 3rd person narrative.

I think this is your song. It's one of two songs that are censored at Kohl's. In this song, the word "cigarettes" is cut out. The word is not bleeped, but that section of the song is totally cut out. It ruins the flow of the song.
The other censored song is "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz. The lines with "damn you're free", and "It's our God-forsaken right" are cut out.

"40 Dogs (Like Romeo and Juliet)" by Bob Schneider

That wasn't it, I actually just found it. It was "Beautiful Disaster" by Jon Mclaughlin
    Thanks for your help though
