Still not the mix I remember being played, but listening to it, I'd guess it would be the most acoustic of mixes.

That mix is actually a really nice peice of music, but unfortunately not my song. Thanks anyway.

This is my best attempt at replicating my tune -

I must say that the first note of my song was considerably lower than that in the above link, the sound itself was a little different, and each note change was faster. But thats just me being picky - its a really useful tool which you have given me and i thank you again.
That's cool. You are very welcome. You are not picky at all, I'm sure this isn't the best type of sound that is out there. At least it did do a good enough job to hear something similar to how the song sounded like. After all we do have a right to state how we feel about the program, since we are the ones using them.

Hi, i have good news: I've actually found it! In a very unexpected place, too!
I can honestly say that i had given up all hope in my search for this song. But then, on a lazy saturday afternoon, whilst going through strange videos on youtube, i heard the unmistakable piano loop. It instantly came back to me - i knew i had found it.
Check out the link below:

The song lasts from 4:45 - 5:47.
I will be hugely appreciative to anyone who knows the name!
Thanks in advance!

It's a piano version (don't know who by) of a track called 'All Things to All Men' by the The Cinematic Orchestra
Orchestral version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cQTes75GKU
With Lyric: feat Roots Manuva http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMKlE6A99Ug
Check them out they're great. The BBC has also used versions of 'To Build a Home' and 'That Home'. Patrick Watson the lead singer is from Quebec.
