I Put the Dis in Functional

Something silly I threw together



I got fired from the hardware store
I'd told a customer to lose some weight
He was returning some bathroom scales
had the damn thing stuck at 4-oh-8

Got evicted from my 3 room loft
I had to crash in my van outside
I was dreaming of a Nascar race
while being towed in my only ride

That's how my life is
how it'll always go
I put the Dis - in - func-tional
I tell the truth
Just lettin ya know
I put the Dis - in - func-tional

I called my woman to get a lift
A man answered on the other end
Told me he was just the cable guy
He didn't lay cable; but my girl-friend!

I hit the bar and got good and drunk
and then I started a barroom fight
Hit a cop who tried to break it up
and found a place to stay for the night

At my new house I get 3 squares a day
Don't need no means of travel cause I'm here to stay

Thanks Rickey. I was just having fun while I was doing a writing exercise and got this. Sometimes I make an off the wall song title and try to write a song around it.

He didn't lay any cable,just my girlfriend.Couldn't have written anything better.(Although I did change "but"to "just"!!)
