Verse one:
You're my surrender, when I'm falling under.
The tears I shed, are better hid.
You know I'm broken, with each word that's spoken.
You keep me, from losing every part of me.
Chorus:
Each tower that falls, reveals a pain.
And each one that's built won't stay the same.
Each day that's new, haunts my soul.
And each one before, reveals it all.
Verse two:
You're my defense, when I'm so weak.
And you're arms, they captivate me.
You know I'm trying with each step I take.
But I'm dying with every move I make.
Chorus:
Each tower that falls, reveals a pain.
And each one that's built won't stay the same.
Each day that's new, haunts my soul.
And each one before, reveals it all.
Bridge:
These towers, they may fall.
But you'll be there underneath it all.
They crumble, but you pick up the dust.
And with you is the only way I can trust.
Ending Chorus:
Each tower that falls, reveals a pain.
And each one that's built won't stay the same.
Each day that's new, haunts my soul.
And each one before, reveals it all.
Hi traingirl!
I'd say this is a true Serenade Of Consolation for a helluva lot of lost souls on this very globe.
Here and there you've skipped the rhyme, but a too smooth rhythm wouldnot reflect the actual feeling you try to put in words.
Therefore: As a singer and composer I would be careful if I want to change anything without asking your permission first.
Thanks again!
