    Default Paradoxical

I wrote the 1st verse 3 years ago and decided to try and finish it. Any comments or suggestions welcome as usual.

    Unless your heart can be broken, love can't exist;
For how can you love when your heart is like stone?
Pain comes with love like thorns on and rose
    and neither exists alone.

If there's no sadness in life, how can we know joy?
To know it's true value, some tears must be cried.
Sorrow comes with life like dark comes with night
    Yet neither always reside

    Life's a paradox
    A strange enigma
    An unsolved riddle
    Good and a stigma
    Worth dying for

    Precious as a gem stone
    Costly as can be
    It's our love for others
    That makes life worthy

    Life's a paradox
    A strange enigma
    An unsolved riddle
    Good and a stigma
    Worth dying for

    Precious as a gem stone
    Costly as can be
    It's our love for others
    That makes life worthy

It seems to refer to relationships where communication and/or tenderness is On The Rocks.
That being said, it's well written ,LooknGlass, as can be expected thinking of your former writings.
To hammer on a heart of stone is a creepy experience indeed

To repeat in the song what you point out: the paradox of life, is smartly done. No changes needed IMHO.

The first and second verses are a mouthful!I like the 3rd thru 6th verses but......like I said, the first two I couldn't figure out how they'd be sung. When I saw you had a song I hadn't commented on,I went back to find out why,now I know and so do you!
