penny when a teenage greek works he/she is doing it near his/her home (meaning he/she won't have problems with the police also) + you live in a small place where everybody knows everybody. So no harm done. Try to do the same thing in Athens and the first week you are going to be arrested (οι καλοί οι γείτονες βλέπεις πάντα φροντίζουν για το καλό σου)

ok no Athens...its tooo big but kos is not that small!!! also i never said she could work in athens but in a small touristic place....however it is illegal so its better not to do that for now...όσο για τους γείτονες χειρότερα είναι εδω που είμαι εγω γιατι ακριβώς με ξέρουν!!!!
