The past is so hard to let go of. Even when we resolve to sever old ties, when we make that trip to the attic or basement to throw out the things we haven't looked at in years, we always find ourselves reminiscing for hours until we just don't have the heart to do it any longer. This song, especially the chorus, is a wonderful reflection on that bittersweet truth.
