Here's the Tune, What's the Song?

Hey, guys. So I hummed the bit of the song I can remember. Sorry, I'm not much of a vocalist and you may need to turn up your volume.

Here's what I kind of know about the song:

-I'm pretty sure the singer is a male.
-The voice reminds me of that of Kenny Loggins's "Footlose" and George Michaels's "Gotta' Have Faith."
-I'm pretty sure the tempo of the song speeds up at the end, and the part I hummed is probably faster.
-The parts I can remember sound upbeat.
-I think the lyrics sound something like, "'Cause I'm (some verb) till the end of time, nothing I can do, ooh ooh! 'Cause I'm (some verb) till the end of time, oh I'm (some verb) till the end of time." Optionally it might something like "'Cause I'm waiting at he end of the line." I don't know what the verb or the final word is, I only know it has the same "i" sound as "time" or "line."
-For whatever reason, what triggered me to remember the song was the song "You Better, You Better, You Bet." I know what song that is though.

I found the song. It's weird, but I heard it on the radio while I was driving to the supermarket today. The part I was remembering was from the end of "Paradise By the Dashboard Light" by Meat Loaf. The lyrics I was remembering were these at the end of the song, "I'm praying for the end of time. It's all I can do (ooh, ooh)."
