DRUNK AND MISORDERLY
Sitting all alone at home again he was wishing for a better life
Hoping for a miracle searching for a far off light
He heard a voice surrounding him, it said d’you wanna ride with me
I’m the genie in the bottle pop the cork and set me free
pop
he wants beamer , he wants Ferrari and Porsche
he wants mansion , with all the money of course
he wants a lover , he never wants a divorce
he wants a future , where he can settle all scores
Well he woke up in the morning feeling the pinch, hung all over in his head
Wishing for a hairy dog an empty bottle in the bed
He heard the voice surrounding him, do you remember where we’ve been
It was the genie from the bottle he said to get the refills in
Forget the beamer, forget Ferrari and Porsche
Forget the mansion, forget the money your poor
Forget the lover, you get to keep the divorce
Forget the future, forget whatever is yours
Well now he’s sleeping in a door way driven by drink trying to wish the bad times gone
he couldn’t take another kick he needs a shoulder to cry on
he hears the voice surrounding him but there is no one there to see
Cos it’s the genie from the bottle he pisses wishes up a tree
pop
I knew I’d get you—your gonna take all the blame
I’m gonna shame you— I’m gonna muddy your name
I’m gonna hurt you—your gonna feel all my pain
I’m gonna waste you— and do it over again
he wants metro -- he wants a flat on his own
he wants rent book --- a nine to five and a moan
he wants neighbour-- he wants friend he can phone
he wants tardus --- he wants make my way home
You’re going nowhere--- you’re gonna swallow my pride
I said I’d shame you--- and there’ll be nowhere to hide
I’m gonna hurt you--- I’m gonna tighten my ties
I’m gonna kill you— and you’ll be my alibi
I’m gonna kill you— and you’ll be my alibi
I’m gonna kill you— and you’ll be my alibi
