    Self Assessment

    Longer hair
    Brighter smile
    Lighter hair
    Wider smile

    Shorter hair
    Whiter teeth
    Darker skin
    Less to eat

    Lose some weight
    Open emotions
    Sway your body
    Like the ocean
    Strive for perfection
    Live for attention
    Insure your assets
    Covered protection

    Plastic face
    Wrinkle-free skin
    Mechanical robot
    Made out of tin

    Shave all your hair
    Sexy smooth shins
    “Desire for perfection”
    The 8th deadly sin

    Lose some weight
    Open emotions
    Sway your body
    Like the ocean
    Strive for perfection
    Live for attention
    Insure your assets
    Covered protection

    Designer clothes
    Fashion shows
    Broken nail
    Tears flow

    Can’t you see
    You’re living a lie
    Damn ugly
    Is how you’ll die

    Lose some weight
    Open emotions
    Sway your body
    Like the ocean
    Strive for perfection
    Live for attention
    Insure your assets
    Covered protection

    Lose some weight
    Open emotions
    Sway your body
    Like the ocean
    Strive for perfection
    Live for attention
    Insure your assets
    Covered protection

This song is about people these day's tring to be perfect, either resorting to things like surgery or just by general improvement, rather than accepting who they are. Rather like brainwashing themselves to think they are like something they are not.

Do you think that this song shows this topic in an easy to understand way??

Opinions would be good! thanks SAM

Can I just say that I love the theme of this song and I think it perfectly represents the way that people are constantly striving for perfection for sometimes no reason, when perfect doesn't really exist, but it's also the people that aren't desperately unhappy with the way that they look that go ahead to try and look better! Sorry i've gone off on a completely different tangent and am probably gonna get shouted at for it lol! But your lyrics do express this topic in an easy to understand way, very clearly put and very well written! Very well done on the way that you have expressed this topic and put things into perspective!
Do you serve a purpose or purposely serve?

It's easy to understand, but really, you need (NEED) to watch syllable count, come up with lines that aren't cliche or tired sounding (sway your body like the ocean)

It's a good theme that you're trying to get across, but unfortunatley, getting a point across doesn't make a song.

the point was glaringly obvious, and for the most part it flowed.
I just couldn't dig into it
