Hello HabibixD! I am - like you- in love with Arab music and culture, and I'm just starting trying to learn Arabic... it's not easy, but I'm loving it!

Anyway, I found the lyrics for Amr Diab's song. I'll give you the link to the corresponding website; they have there the lyrics of many of his songs, unfortunately not all of them are translated... but it may still be of some use to you.

Hi! Thank u so much, i hope this site will be so usefull. In fact in my city i have problems with learning arabic cuz we don't have any school with arabic language.. grrr.. :P but in my city i met a man from Algeria and he decided to teach me arabic but he teached me Algerian dialect and everytime when i travel to Egypt not much people understand me because of diffrent words.. But HURRRA because i know that in my city is living a boy from Egypt so maybe he will be so good and he will make my arabic perfect in fact i will do what i still did.. i mean i will shake some websites and i will try to learn arabic by them. Anyway shoukran (good?) again !

Mmhhh... I just remembered there's a thread in this forum called "Arabic translation", and an Egyptian guy called "Rock Star" translated and posted a lot of Amr Diab's songs in there. There are also a few posts with some basic vocabulary, so maybe you should check it out as well.

That with having a native speaker to help you learning the language sounds great! I just think my husband wouldn't be exactly happy if I was to do the same (ha,ha,ha... men!).
