I will be hugely appreciative if someone can help me with
1. the lyrics of this 1953 Greek song, "Ena Vrady Pouvreche" by Nikos Gounaris preferably transliterated into Roman characters (so I can read it); and
2. a translation into English. (I think the title means "On a Rainy Night")
I heard it many years ago, I really like it, and I need to be able to sing it at a party on 10/15 (soon). I hope to surprise and please the Greek-Americans there and just astonish everyone else (I am not a singer).
I have tried to copy the lyrics down phonetically, with no idea how the syllables are arranged into words. Maybe this is close enough for you to figure out the actual lyrics.
