The translation elsewhere on the forum, as referred to in the reply above is -though roughly correct, and will allow you to get the gest of it- very literal, and does contain a few non-poetic 'grammar irregularities', as well as some choices in tense and interpretations that I wouldn't have.

I made a translation which adheres to/preserves the song's metre (and original syllable count) & rhyme and also whenever possible I tried to refrain from my own interpretation/uphold any ambiguity whenever I believed it was (intentionally) in there. Of course, that is an interpretation by default.
