Have been for the longest time

I'm going to be honest here: I'm not in the range of people who can figure out exactly what "This" is that you don't need. I have theory, of course, but it's not definite, and I sort of feel, if that's what you're going for, great. If it's not, you could manage to say what it is at least somewhere. Otherwise, the imagery is impressive, I can feel the emotion running through it, and raw power is a very important aspect of any lyrics. It feels a bit like a draft, however. I do suggest reading this over to yourself, and singing it to yourself. It hardly matters if you can sing well, no one else has to hear, but when you say music out loud you can hear things in the rhythmics, maybe something you like more than you realized, or something that feels out of sync. Do this in every style you can imagine, each time will reveal something new, or reveal something old you'd forgotten of. Regardless, it's a powerful tool I think could make a good song into an absolutely amazing song.
