Last stand of Super Soldiers

The Spartan code goes like this
A Spartan comes back with his shield or on it
A Spartan doesn’t know the word retreat
And they will die before accepting defeat

A plagued army spread across the lands
Leaving a deadly disease of greed and power
The man who passed the tryout and got the role
Of fake messiah who doubles as the general
Leading his solders to concur all and more
But the wall of a city state stopped there tour

Three hundred bravely stand alone
That million won’t easily dethrone
The king fearlessly made a god an enemy
He charged first into battle ready to die
For each one of his men who fought by his side

Three hundred believed to be perfect men
On the first day none of them die and yet
That one million sent to kill all of them
Retreated when faced against a phalanx of death

The enemy said to put down there weapons
As the king roared a battle cry, “Come and get them!”
Spears clashed with the bodies who stood against
The elite that each hoped for a beautiful end

Three hundred believed to be perfect men
On the second day three hundred had lost ten and yet
That one million sent to kill all of them
Retreated after losing twenty two thousand

The enemy tried to make peace with the king
All he must do is kneel before there deity
The king turned to that god as he laughed and said
You god king will bleed before I’m dead

Three hundred believed to be perfect men
On the third day the king made a plan and yet
He wanted to end this with a final stand
Dinning in hell holding happiness in hand

Now that the king is dead and gone
The city he once ruled will go to war
And the army that stood against only three hundred
Will now have to face the wrath of over ten thousand

Three hundred were out numbered twenty to one each day
Yet every wave of there enemies were easily slain
Striking fear into the Persians as they ran away
For the wrath of ten thousand is here to stay
Who will avenge there king as they charged the field screaming
