Song was recorded off the radio on a new music/alternative show in early 1990, so I’m guessing the song is from the late 80s, probably 1989. The first two verses and chorus go something like this...

Some days it seems I can’t slow down
Move so long too fast
Can’t see enough, can’t feel enough
In the time that’s racing past

Some days I have to go through
Can’t face another night
I see too much I feel too much
Even my dreams don’t seem right

Chorus:

And everyday I feel alive
Whether I’m standing up or down
Never so low that I can’t fall
Never so high that I can’t drown

…can’t drown

I can post a sample if anyone thinks they might know this. The recording isn't that great, sorta lo-fi, so some of these lyrics might be a little off but pretty close... thanks!
