The form of the verb is WRONG in Romanian. Te place is the form for 3rd pers. SINGULAR.
Te plac is the form for the 3rd person PLURAL (and, incidentally, it's the same form for 1st pers.sg

People who use the singular form instead of the plural one are considered uneducated. I don't know if theere is a typo in the lyrics or if this is what she actually sings, but it is wrong!)

(also, popular/informal way of expressing future. Very close to the meaning of "be going to" in English)

Typical case of misunderstanding due to the lack of diacritics:

Povești-- stories
a povesti-- to tell stories

The title of the song is Stories

Now this song is full of expressions and informal language, so it was difficult for you to understand it:

....because may is like can - and therefore may does not equal might And i think might is the correct translation
