MayGoLoco I wouldnt say that tanana is sound of the gun lol.. Tanana = tanka.. so it would be thin or some other synonym for 'tanko/a'

I know, but I thought that it would be strange to translate it to "a gun fired thinly" or something like that? It just sounds too weird. I thought that in this case it could also be translated to the sound of the gun...

Maybe the lyrics should be:

i puce puska
And the gun fired
tanana pogodi lepu Milicu
It hit the beautiful Milica thinly

It makes more sense

Well I think the word "tanana" is just there for the sake of the song... without any meaning actually
but if we were to translate, I guess it would be
And a thin gun fired,
hit the beautiful Milica

It seems to me that the translation of Spring is better, so I just edited the post with that translation
