Smile Banda El Recodo - Ya Lo Pagaras Con Dios

Will someone take a crack at this one for me? Thanks!

    Hello! Here is the translation:

Ya Lo Pagaras Con Dios - You will pay it with God

    Sufro terrible la ausencia
    I terribly suffer the absence
Por una ingrata mujer que me abandonó
Because of an ungrateful woman who left me
    Al cielo pido cleméncia
I ask for mercy to the sky
To make me forget the sorrows i went through

    Qué sentimiento tan grande
    What a great feeling
When i spend the hours watching over you
    Quiero hacer por olvidarte
I want to make to forget you
But i am feeling closer and closer to you.

Quiero no verte ni volver a hablarte
I don’t want to see you or talk to you again
Jamás en la vida ingrata mujer
Ever in this life, you ungrateful woman
    Ya lo pagarás con Dios.
You will pay it with God.

    Voy a jugarme un albur
I will play a game of words
Entre la baraja y yo, y lo voy a perder
Between the cards and i, and i will loose it
Because i feel that in the end, i will
    A echar a la aperdición.
Throw myself again to the perdition/ruin

    Yo vivo triste, olvidado
    I live sad, forgotten
Without having anything in life, but an illusion
You are the flame which used to burn in my heart
    Que muy pronto se apagó.
    Which put out too soon

Quiero no verte ni volver a hablarte.....
I don’t want to see you or talk to you again...

I'm not sure what your point is?.

I have listened to some of their songs (not the above) and I had no difficulty understanding all lyrics, even when I'm not Mexican nor a native Spanish speaker for that matter.

And you're right, there is no word in the Spanish dictionary as "recondol", there is however, Recodo (recodar) which is the name of the band. I don't know the origin for the band's name, but i'm sure if you google it, you might find an answer.

Mexico is rich is language diversity, but Spanish is the national language there spoken by the majority.

dood (or doodtress IDK) if u'r not a native speaker u won't understand the joke ok.
besides for ppl who speak spanish as a second language is easier to undestand mexican since the standard (international) spanish is base on the mexican accent
an reco(whaterev is a mexican word, and it does not exist in traditional spanish) the word the u mean is recuerdo no redocttor or whatever the spelling is.

    PEACE

Recodo is the name of the town the founder of the band is from. As for "Mexican" vs. Spanish - I live in Phoenix. (That's in Arizona, a state directly above Mexico). So figure it out what style of Spanish I'm learning and why these songs are of interest to me. Layla - thanks so much for your translation!
