The DJs at the Sunday night party in London called DTPM played a track from around 2001-2004 almost every week and I could never find it.

Its a funky/soulful house track. The lyrics *sound* like: "Check out the soul child...here comes the soul child." A friend mentioned it might be "check out the slow jive"....
